AXSMap Pledge Page (Proposed Design)

AXSMap is a review-based mapping service that allows people to locate accessible places in cities in the US and Canada. For this project they needed to create a mockup of a proposed site that would be a fundraising tool for their mapping efforts.

Cohen Hochman & Allen Website Redesign

Cohen Hochman & Allen is a prominent law firm in New York City that needed a refresh of their brand and website. Studio150 design redesigned the logo and print collateral then designed and developed a new website.

Tina Morton Website

studio150 design with Halsell New Media produced a new website for video activist Tina Morton. The client wanted a simple site that could showcase her work as well as connect her site to other community organizations and resources. The design selected by the client was to convey a warm and rich tone to complement the subject matter in her work.
Avon Advance Techniques

Avon Advance Techniques

studio150 was approached by Glow Interactive to help design a mini-site for the new Avon Advance Techniques hair care line. From their wireframes studio150 fleshed out the landing and product pages. The site also featured widgets to help users select products.

Don Wildman

Don Wildman host of Travel Channel's "Off Limits" program wanted to establish a web presence that would showcase his travels and include interactive elements for users to browse. The proposed website included an interactive map and travel journal. The interactive map included video clips associated with the cities Don had visited. The interactive journal included pages from his actual Moleskine notebook scanned and highlighted with personal notes.

Schomberg Center Humanities Program

This was the proposed design for a new site to showcase the Schomberg Center's summer Humanities program for the arts. The design was to reflect the subject matter as well as appeal to high school students interested in the internship program.

The Abolition of the Slave Trade

Studio150 design worked with Missing Pixel and the Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture to create an extensive website to commemorate the abolition of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. The website involved UI design to incorporate hundreds of texts from the New York Public Library and included interactive elements such as a map and timeline. Each stage of the slave trade is color-coded to help the user navigate the breadth of content available.

Rand Realty Listing Page Design

Rand Realty wanted to update their listings pages to enhance the usability and tone. The resulting design utilized their signature colors and added design elements to create a more upscale feel.

“Going on Thirteen” Game Site

This was a proposed design for a companion site to a documentary, "Going on Thirteen". Studio150 designed a site that would be evocative of a personal diary or handwritten notes to appeal to the target audience of tween girls.

Classic Cars Certification

This section of the website was to showcase their new certification program. The project entailed creating a Certification seal graphic and applying that to a sub section of the site that would offer buyers and sellers detailed information on the benefits of the program.

Almost Home – Proposed Design

"Almost Home" is a project that involves a documentary about aging as well as support information. This proposed design was to highlight the video as well as the resources.

Naomi Pabst Website Design

Naomi Pabst is a intuitive counselor who needed a new website to highlight her writings as well as services. Studio150 proposed a design that was evocative of spirituality. This site is still in development.

Fixxbook Plus UI Design

The objective of this project was to redesign the user interface to make the information easier to digest and more attractive. Information was condensed into smaller "chunks" and filtering options were styled to give it a more contemporary feel.
mini-cc-photogallery Photo Gallery developed a new interactive photo gallery showcasing user photos of their classic cars. Studio150 helped with the design of the page as well as the popover modals used to display slideshows.

During the course of this project several different designs were explored to find just the right tone for the target audience.

Katrina – The Road Home

This companion website to the PBS series about the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina was to showcase the effects and build a community around the rebuilding process. Users were able to view and upload video responses as well as post comments.
